Get your napkin ready as Orlando Sentinel food writer Amy Drew Thompson dishes on the latest food news at Disney World with theme park reporter Dewayne Bevil.
The two discuss Disney’s plans to add hundreds of plant-based options to its menus.
“Disney is welcoming more people to the table,” Amy Drew explains about the vegan offerings.
And speaking of menus, Star-Wars themed entrees like Shaak Roast and Felucian Garden Spread are now listed as “Beef Pot Roast” and “Hummus Garden Spread.” The goal of simplifying the names is to make ordering easier for park guests at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Not everybody is embracing this change.
And lastly, with one month left to stuff yourself at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, Amy Drew samples the latest additions: Donut Box and Cool Wash marketplaces.
