After President Donald Trump launches his re-election campaign Tuesday night in Orlando, “Fox & Friends” will talk to the Orlando breakfast crowd on Wednesday.
Todd Piro will be the reporter for the “Breakfast With Friends” segment. He will ask café patrons about the rally and other news at Dixie Belle’s Café, 7125 S. Orange Ave. in Orlando.
The hosts in New York will toss to the segment every hour from 6-9 a.m. ET on Fox News Channel.
“Fox & Friends” is one of the president’s favorite programs. He called the hosts on Friday, his 73rd birthday, and spoke for 50 minutes.
For “Breakfast With Friends,” correspondents travel the country to ask locals about hot-button topics. Orlando was chosen because of the Trump rally.
That rally starts at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amway Center, and the president’s comments will receive extensive coverage in this market. WFTV-Channel 9, WOFL-Channel 35 and Spectrum News 13 said they will carry the rally live in prime time. You’re likely to see heavy coverage from the national cable news channels.
